BRAMBLETON HOSTS COMMUNITY SAFETY SHRED

Brambleton Town Center is hosting a free Community Safety Shred event on Saturday, March 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Chevy Chase Bank parking lot. The event will provide Loudoun residents with the opportunity to protect their identities by shredding sensitive documents. The truck-mounted shredder can accept all types of paper documents, even those with staples, paper clips or other small fasteners; however, based on limited capacity, shredding is restricted to individual use only with a limit of 10 boxes per vehicle. After the event, all shredded material will be recycled.

“The shredder can handle as much as 5 tons of paper. Last year we reach capacity before the end of the event, so we recommend that people come early” said Steven Theobald, general manager of Proshred Security.

Radio station 92.5 WINC-FM will be broadcasting live throughout the event and participants can receive coupons and other giveaways from
Brambleton Town Center merchants.
