Brambleton hosts double header kicking off Sizzlin’ Summer Concerts & ending with a Spectacular Firework Display

Brambleton's Town Center features music and entertainment for the community this summer on a regular basis. Kicking off the season, the Freedom Festival and Youth Fest promise major entertainment on Saturday, June 26 from 2 to 10 p.m. Nationally known Frontiers (journeytributeband.com), a Journey tribute band, will be on hand for musical entertainment. Also planned are free events, music by local bands, exhibits and educational offerings, and of course, delicious food throughout the day, followed by a spectacular fireworks display. Brambleton, Soave Real Estate, and Miller & Smith are grand sponsors of this year's Youth Fest.

The sounds of dance music from the past four decades, rock and roll, hip hop, and blues, will drift through the community of Brambleton when the
Sizzlin' Summer Concert Series comes to the Town Center in July and August. Exciting live performances are planned on Thursdays at 7 p.m. on July 1, 15 and 29, and Aug. 12 and 26. Sponsored by the Brambleton Town Center Associates, the concerts are open to the public at no charge. Enjoy dinner at one of the Town Center's vibrant eateries, and bring a chair or blanket to the Town Center plaza to join the fun from 7 to 9 p.m.

Kicking off the first performance on July 1 is the '80s tribute band, The Reagan Years (
thereaganyears.com), which is making headlines in venues across the mid-Atlantic states. On July 15, enjoy Rob Byer (myspace.com/robbyer) with his mix of blue collar country and southern music. On July 29, theVips (thevipsband.com) will be on hand to present four decades of popular music. On August 12, The Monster Band (themonsterband.com) brings the sounds of Funk and R&B. The summer series concludes on Aug. 26 with the popular tunes from Hyjinx (hyjinxband.com), a Rock cover band with a mix of popular music.
