Brambleton's June Update - Grand Openings, Filming "What's in your Wallet" Fireworks, Concerts, Super Computers, Loudoun's Youth Fest 2010 & more!

Phase III UpdateEmerald Ridge & The Overlook neighborhoods continue to make strides. Van Metre’s Halswell & Gramercy models are now open with Winchester’s Danfield & Van Metre’s Grayson models opening very soon.

Capital One Commercial in Brambleton – What’s in your wallet? Filming for a new Capital One Commercial took place on what was one of Brambleton’s busiest days of Grand Openings & special events! It created quite the buzz on site and through our facebook page. Insight Eye Optique’s Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Grand Opening - Insight Eye Optique's Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was officiated by Mr. Tony Howard from the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Sutaria was joined by her husband and other family members who witnessed the opening. Music, face painting office tours, and displays were offered. Sport & Health’s Grand Opening Celebration - The Management staff can be seen here cutting the ribbon officially dedicating the new Sport & Health at Brambleton facility. Many Brambleton tenants and outside activities were held throughout the afternoon with special membership pricing and free massages. Pictures of the event can be viewed here -

PROS Awards Winners - Please join us in congratulating Miller & Smith, Pulte Homes & Winchester Homes who recently received several PROS awards. The PROS Awards recognize and applaud the superintendents, project managers and customer service personnel who manage the building site, oversee the construction, and work with the homebuyers. The event is co-sponsored by the Maryland-National Capital BIA and the Northern Virginia BIA. The PROS Awards recognize the best of the best in all of Maryland and Northern Virginia and honor these people who build new homes.

Caliente adds zest to Brambleton! So what’s different about Caliente than the other Mexican restaurants in Loudoun County? You won’t find multicolored interior design in this restaurant. The clean modern decor, has dark wood and golden colors, almost like a large, modern wine bar in the Washington, D.C., suburbs. But you’ll find most customers flock to the casual outdoor bar and the first-come first-serve patio seating for chips, black-peppery salsa and a variety of fruity margaritas and signature drinks.

Legacy Elementary Dedicates New Track - Legacy Elementary held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to dedicate their brand new track on Friday, June 11th. Photos captured from the event can be viewed here

Janelia Farm Joins Ranks of World's Fastest Supercomputers “Gladiator” Two new life science computers have debuted in the most recent Top500 ranking of the world's fastest supercomputers, joining three other life science machines that surpassed the 24.7-teraflop benchmark for inclusion on the current version of the twice-yearly list. One of the new systems is new entry is a 35.8-teraflop, 4,000-core Dell system called "Gladiator" that was installed on the Howard Hughes Medical Institute's Janelia Farm Campus earlier this year to support a range of life science research activities.

New Bowling Alley is now open to the public! King Pinz is now open in Leesburg, bringing an upscale entertainment center with bowling, amusements, sports bar and grill with great food to Loudoun County, Virginia. Guests of all ages will love their visually spectacular facility with plush lounge setting, contemporary menu, upscale bowling, interactive game room and billiards.

The TYSONS EXPRESS SCHEDULE and ROUTE STOPS are now posted on the website, Detailed maps of the Leesburg and Broadlands park and ride lots has also been updated on the site. Service will begin on Monday, June 21st. The new buses have been wrapped in the “Tysons Express” logo, you might catch a glimpse of one!

ProJet Aviation opens at Leesburg Executive Airport - ProJet Aviation, a Washington, D.C., metropolitan area aircraft management and worldwide charter company, hosted a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Jet Center at Leesburg Executive Airport Wednesday, June 2. The airport is at 957 Sycolin Road in Leesburg.
