Lights, Camera, Action! - We are in the process preparing a few select Brambleton Town Center videos which will be launched on various internet sites including Facebook & Youtube. Our creative team has already captured great lifestyle footage at a swim meet, the Freedom Fest as well as Youth Fest (including Loudoun County’s first ever flashmob dance - now live on Youtube,www.youtube.com/brambletonview).

The idea behind the web-based videos is to create interesting, fun videos that will be shared with friends and families and become viral across the web helping raise awareness for the BTC. The videos are designed as parodies of musical genres. Shooting will be ongoing this week! Perhaps the best examples we have found on the web are the videos Toyota launched to promote the 2011 Toyota Sienna mini van -- hoping people will see them as cool! http://youtu.be/u7coJ0mc09Q

Loudoun County’s First Ever Flashmob at Youth Fest 2010
- Amidst the excitement of Freedom Fest on Saturday, June 26th, Brambleton also played host to Loudoun Youth Inc’s 5th annual Youth Fest 2010 in the Town Center. This free, day long music event has become the summer kickoff for middle and high school-age youth of Loudoun County. Teens were entertained with live music by local youth bands, interactive exhibits/inflatables, and educational information and exhibits from local nonprofit organizations including health organizations, after-school programs and drug/alcohol prevention programs. Along with the Loudoun All-Star Battle of the Bands performances, a special “surprise element” to this year’s event included the excitement of the county’s first Flashmob dance (watch the video on YouTube www.youtube.com/brambletonview or view pictures on Flickr http://bit.ly/awJg4j )

The Brambleton Group and Miller & Smith were grand sponsors of this event. Loudoun Youth, Inc. is Loudoun County’s premier non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and developing programs that provide teens with positive out-of-school activities in safe environments.
