Brambleton Announces the 4th Annual Brambleton Ribbon Run/Walk

Brambleton, an award-winning master-planned community located in Loudoun County, Virginia announces today the 4th Annual Brambleton Ribbon Run / Walk scheduled for April 9, 2011. All proceeds from the race will be donated to The Step Sisters www.stepsisters.org, a local, non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to help fight breast cancer.

“Brambleton is thrilled to once again be the title sponsor of this important community event.” Says Kim Adams, Director of Marketing for Brambleton. “ We look forward to hosting and cheering on more than 1,200 runners and supporters united in the effort to fight breast cancer.”

The event is designed to have something for everyone with runners and walkers of all age groups, including young families with children participating. The event kicks-off at 7:30 am with a 10K race, followed by a 5K race and then a “Kids Fun Run.” Live entertainment, a Sponsors Showcase and an exciting finish line will entertain both runners and spectators.
