Brambleton March Update - Virginia Wine Factory coming to the BTC!

Sport & Heath Brambleton is “Athletic Club of the Year”
On March 2, 2011, Sport & Health at Brambleton was awarded Athletic Club of the Year for 2010!  It’s a very prestigious award given out each year that all club managers and associates covet from within Sport & Health.  Before being nominated for the award, each club must first achieve certain goals throughout the course of the year.  This is anything from memberships, to personal training to customer service ratings.  B_recognized@Brambleton!



New Tenant coming to the BTC - The Brambleton Town Center is pleased to announce a new tenant that is coming to the BTC - the Virginia Wine Factory will be located next to Misguided Angels at the Brambleton Town Center Phase II.  The VWF venue will offer wine tastings and serve small plates; in addition they hope to organize some special events.  B_here@Brambleton! BTC List of Tenants: www.brambleton.com/towncenter

Cutest Baby Contest Winner! The Brambleton Group held a Cutest Baby Contest on facebook in February which turned out to be great fun and a very close competition. Annalee’s Fashion Show – Oh, what a night! 
Jenet Ahn, owner of Annalee’s Formals, organized a successful Fashion Show on Saturday, March 12th showcasing the latest fashions for Prom and other formal events.  In addition to the Fashion Show, Leigh Macdonald, contributor from W-USA 9, spoke to the crowd about Prom confidence, offering many great tips for the girls. Supervisors Recognize Falcons' Championship Season - Loudoun County Chairman Scott K. York (I-At Large) and Supervisor Stevens Miller (D-Dulles) welcomed members of the Briar Woods Falcons to the boardroom for recognition of their winning season. The Falcons won the Virginia High School League AA Division 4 State Championship. Head Coach Charlie Pierce and Principal Ed Starzynski joined the players for the recognition ceremony. Briar Woods Big Playmaker Draws College Interest - College Scouts Briar Woods junior WR/DB Alex Carter has the college scouts buzzing as he has already received 6 verbal offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Stanford, Duke and Kansas State. Falcon coach Charlie Pierce says that Tennessee and Notre Dame could join that group soon! Who let the Hounds Out?  Baseball is coming to Loudoun! More than 9,500 fans packed the halls of Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn on Sunday February 13th for the inaugural FanFest hosted by the Loudoun Hounds professional baseball club, the team's president said in a statement.  "We knew this event was going to be big, but this exceeded our expectations," said Bob Farren, president and chief executive of the Hounds. Dulles Metro March Construction Update - March marks the second anniversary of the start of construction of Phase 1 of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project. On March 9, 2009, the U.S. Department of Transportation approved a Full Funding Grant Agreement that provided $900 million in federal funding for the project, completing the financial package. 


Within days, construction started and the past 24 months have been filled with significant construction successes. The landscape all along the 11.7 miles of the Phase 1 alignment has been altered as construction races along on this public infrastructure project that is already setting the stage for the transformation of Tysons Corner.
