Brambleton 6th Top Selling Community in the US - Brambleton announces its position as the 6th top selling master-planned community according to RCLCO and John Burns Real Estate Consulting. 5th Annual Brambleton Ribbon Run/Walk to fight Breast Cancer this Saturday - Brambleton announces the 5th Annual Brambleton Ribbon Run / Walk scheduled for April 14, 2012. An expected 2,000 runners and walkers will participate in the race with all proceeds donated to The Step Sisters, a local non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to help fight breast cancer. NVBIA Parade of Homes – April 28th & 29th - Brambleton and its builders will be participating in the NVBIA’s Annual Parade of Homes on Saturday, April 28th & Sunday, April 29th from 11 am to 6 pm. Major Trail System Enhancement Underway - The Brambleton Group and their contractors have begun the installation of 3.5 miles of primarily 10’ wide trail in common areas south of Creighton Road. The trail will meander through woodlands, meadows and adjacent to wetlands bringing residents closer to nature while providing privacy to adjacent landowners. The work will take place over the next 90 days and is expected to be completed by the end of July, weather permitting. The end results will connect Brambleton’s southern neighborhoods with the rest of the community while creating additional recreational opportunities for the entire community.

Congratulations to the Thibodeau family, winners of Brambleton’s Pot of Gold Giveaway on St. Patrick’s Day!  The Pot of Gold Giveaway was the Brambleton Group’s most recent social media contest which tasked participants with finding hidden shamrocks throughout the Town Center. The Pot of Gold was filled with gifts from participating Brambleton Town Center retailers and was valued at over $850!

Briar Woods Teams Get Much Deserved Attention - Members of the Briar Woods High School varsity football, softball and competition cheer teams earned praises and resolution of commendation from the Loudoun Board of Supervisors March 6 for successful seasons. The Falcon football team won its second straight state championship while the Falcon softball team won their first state championship. The competition cheer team became the first team in Virginia High School League history to win the state title in the same classification three years in a row. Congratulations to all the teams! VA budget approved! $300 Million for Phase II Metro and 60 Million bump for NoVa Schools- Both Victories for Loudoun! - Virginia’s partisan budget standoff came to a close Thursday, the second day into a special General Assembly session, as Republicans and Democrats on a Senate committee unanimously agreed to shift tens of millions of dollars toward schools, Medicare and toll relief, and to borrow $300 million more for the Metro-to-Dulles rail project.
