The Spirit of Giving Bike Giveaway - Brambleton announced Friday the Spirit of Giving and Model Home Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes. Dog Calendars Coming Soon - The 2013 Pawsitively Brambleton Dog Calendars will soon be available in the Welcome Center, just in time for your holiday gift giving!  In return for a calendar, we are asking for a donation to the Friends of Homeless Animals.  A collection “dog house” has been set up in the Welcome Center.  Items on their wish list include:  Raised dog and cat beds, cat condos, leashes, dog and cat toys, Frontline, Regal Pet Food, Pedigree canned dog food, Merrick canned dog food, Friskies cat food, Fancy Feast cat food, clumping cat litter, canned chicken, and cash donations or gift cards to help them purchase any of these items!

Ø      Go Bananas has launched our "Pennies From Heaven" community outreach for victims of Hurricane Sandy.  Look around your house, your car, anywhere loose change might be hiding and bring it into Go Bananas. We'll be collecting loose change through Christmas Eve. Then, all the money will be donated to the American Red Cross. We hope you'll join us in the spirit of this very easy outreach for those who truly need our help this holiday season.

A Quick Peak at Future Metrorail Cars - A preview of new railcars for Metro and the new Silver Line shows the next generation of railcars. Metro in early October displayed a new full-scale mock up of cars it has ordered as part of the largest investment in Metro’s fleet in the system’s history.
