February 2013 Edition

Brambleton, Northern Virginia Community College in talks for Loudoun campus - The owner of Loudoun County's Brambleton community is in talks with Northern Virginia Community College to establish a campus on the project's 2,000 acres.

The campus would be one of several proposed changes for Brambleton, a master-planned community of 3,800 homes anchored by a town center — with thousands more residences and millions of square feet of commercial space still to be built. Washington Business Journal article: http://ht.ly/hErGq

Meet Brambleton's Official Photographer
Suzanne Robertson was very excited to find out she had been selected as the photographer for the Brambleton Community. This opportunity is right in line with what she loves to photograph: families having fun as well as interacting with others.  Suzanne has had a camera in her hands for as long as she can remember, starting with a 35mm Nikon and a Yashica mat 124g medium format. Today she photographs with all digital, but just as with film, she waits to capture the right moment and creates images that will be cherished for a lifetime.  Suzanne's style is photojournalist, capturing families in natural interactions in environments where they feel most comfortable.  Her first official event to cover will be the Valentine's Date Night at the Brambleton Town Center!  View Suzanne's website, click here: http://www.smrpics.com/

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in the Brambleton Town Center

Make the Brambleton Town Center your destination for the most romantic date night of the year: Valentine's Day, February 14th! And this year the Chorus of the Old Dominion, Loudoun County's all-male a cappella chorus, returns to the Town Center to delight with their barbershop and doo-wop tunes. You'll find them strolling throughout the shops and restaurants and along Brambleton Plaza from 6-9 PM. Remember, you can find all your Valentine’s Day gift essentials – chocolates, cards, flowers, desserts and jewelry – right here in the Brambleton Town Center!

Running in Brambleton  Last summer, Road Runners Club of America, the oldest and largest distance running organization in the United States, selected Brambleton as a 2012 Runner Friendly Community.

Beautiful streetscapes, trails along parks and common areas, luscious landscape and waterfalls are just a few features that make running in Brambleton enjoyable. As the community continues to grow, the addition of more trail systems and scenic streets will further enhance the community’s running experience. This spring, the Developer will install 20 exercise stations along the new trails, starting on the west side of Northstar Blvd.
