Brambleton Debuts New High Tech Interactive Touch Screen
The Brambleton Marketing Department is always looking for new and innovative ways to showcase our award winning community. Our latest showstopper is an impressive 55” interactive display with an edge-to-edge glass surface that has touch screen capabilities.  With the touch of a finger, you can play with 360-degree animations, including the latest development map, builder product and pricing, even event photos and videos.  You’ll find it all “floating” on the screen… just tap the photo/file, enlarge, move it anywhere on the display, then sweep it off the screen to “close” the file.

Designed by MultiTouch Ltd. out of Helsinki, Finland, this innovative display uses their MultiTaction® technologies to build an integrated multi-touch LCD display.  As with each of their displays, Brambleton’s has been custom-created and designed from the ground up to incorporate MultiTaction.  MultiTouch products are currently in use in more than 50 countries. The products are designed for corporate information, retail, marketing & temporary exhibitions, museums & permanent exhibitions, entertainment & hospitality, research & education, social media, arts & design and other professional uses.  This WOW factor is on display in the Welcome Center which is open daily, 11 am to 6 pm.

See a teacher or the principal for details.  There is no limit to how many raffle tickets you may purchase. The drawings will be held at the end of May. Good luck!

Loudoun County continues to reign atop richest county list - For the second consecutive year, Loudoun County has been named as the richest county in the country by Forbes Magazine.  Forbes bases their county rankings on median household income, which is compiled by the Census Bureau's Small Area Income and Poverty estimates for 2011. The report combines income estimates from the traditional American Community Survey with other administrative records such as tax returns.  Click here to view the Forbes Magazine article.

The service districts, which are located in the areas surrounding the three planned Loudoun County Metro stations, have been designed to help pay for the construction of the Silver Line to this area of the county and for the ongoing costs of providing the Metrorail service at those stations. An additional real property tax may be levied in the districts for these purposes, at a maximum rate of $0.20 per $100 of assessed property value.  Click here for more info.
