Fall Events in Loudoun County

The leaves are changing and fall is in full swing! We have gathered some festive ways for you to enjoy the best Loudoun County has to offer this fall.

The Brambleton Town Center can help you get that new fall look you’ve been craving! The HairLoom Studio is a great place to get a fresh new look for the season. As the weather gets colder avoid cabin fever by joining Sport and Health Club, and let your little ones have some fun at Bella Ballerina.   • Purcellville First Friday

If you haven’t been to Purcellville First Friday’s now is the time to go! This is the perfect event to get you into the fall spirit. The downtown merchants come together to offer an evening of live music and horse drawn carriage rides. To go along with the fall festivities there are pumpkins, hot chocolate and popcorn, as well as wine tastings at various stores. The best part about this event is that everything is free!

  •  Loudoun Lyric Opera: The Secret Marriage
Enjoy a night out at the Opera and experience Domenic Cimarosa's romantic story about a secret marriage.  The Loudoun Lyric Opera puts on this classical series that has many love triangles and a twisting plot that leads up to the reveal of the big secret. This light hearted story is sure to be something the whole family can enjoy. Directed by Byron Jones with Music Director Cuong Hung Van.

Pawsitively Brambleton Cover Dog Revealed - The 2013 Pawsitively Brambleton dog calendar is still in production, but on Saturday, October 6th, Brambleton unveiled the "cover dog" in the Welcome Center.  Dog treats and giveaways were available throughout the afternoon in the Welcome Center, as well as a display of the calendar's cover. After the big reveal at 12:30pm everyone headed over to the first ever Brambleton Day Parade & Mutt Strutt at the Brambleton Town Center.  Proceeds of the calendar will benefit the Friends of Homeless Animals and the Brambleton Group will be collecting donations for the shelter in the Welcome Center through December 21st.  Check out their Facebook Events page for a list of some items currently on the shelter's "wish list." 

Misguided Angels Reds & Threads - Misguided Angels kicked off their 2nd Anniversary celebration in true “fashion” with their annual Reds & Threads Fashion Show on Friday, October 5th at the Virginia Wine Factory.  Brambletonians were excited to model the latest collections after being glammed up by Eclips Salon & Day Spa.  The crowd enjoyed seeing all the latest fashions while enjoying some aperitifs courtesy of Nick’s Corner Grill.  The finale was a special show from Bella Ballerina’s adorable models in their cute tutus!  View all the photos here: http://ht.ly/ejzSy

Brambleton Fall Festival & Brambleton Day Parade 2012 – Brambleton, held their 8th Annual Fall Fest at the Brambleton Town Center on October 6, 2012. Presented by the Brambleton Community Association, the event kicked off with the free Brambleton Day Parade and Mutt Strutt.  Approximately 3,000 attendees enjoyed rides, amusements, concerts, kids’ activities, face painters, glitter tattoos, geocaching (a free real-world outdoor treasure hunt), food vendors, beer, vendor marketplace and more.

Brambleton to hold 8th Annual Fall Festival

Leesburg, Virginia, September 26, 2012 – Brambleton, an award-winning master-planned community located in Loudoun County, Virginia, invites the community to support the 8th Annual Fall Fest at the Brambleton Town Center on October 6, 2012.

Presented by the Brambleton Community Association, the event will kick off with the free Brambleton Day Parade and Mutt Strut, beginning in the Town Center at 12:30 PM and traveling through Legacy Park. The parade will host floats from clubs, groups, and organizations around Brambleton.  The Mutt Strut will give the community a chance to show off their four-legged friends while spotlighting the top 13 dogs selected to be in the 2013 Pawsitively Brambleton Calendar, which will be available for sale this fall with proceeds benefitting the Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA).

Join the Brambleton Community Association’s 8th Annual Fall Fest and enjoy rides and amusements, concerts, kids’ activities, face painters, glitter tattoos, geocaching (a free real-world outdoor treasure hunt), food vendors, beer, vendor marketplace and more.
